Dr. Strong presented a Lightning Talk on the work she’s been developing machine learning/deep learning algorithms at OmniEarth to process satellite and aerial imagery for developing water-use budgets at the parcel-level in the state of California, in response to the current drought conditions and the California Governor’s mandate to conserve water statewide.
