Lt Col Shulaxan Sharma is the Deputy Head of Information and Technology Division for the Nepalese Army. He was previously serves as the Deputy Unit Head, GIS Unit with the Nepalese Army, and prior to that was Database Manager and Deputy Head, GIS Unit for MINUSTAH, Haiti.

He holds an M.E. in Remote Sensing and Geographic Information System from the Asian Institute of Technology of Thailand and a B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from Anuradha Engineering College in India.
